Good Morning Family!

Last week, the church body voted unanimously to authorize our trustees to seek out a competitive loan for the demolition and removal of the abandoned mobile home park and the clearing of the nearly four acres of land.  Pray for them as they work through that process.

We also met this past week with an Ozark Electric rep to look at how the power is presently routed to our building and the community well.  There is a game plan to remove some of the unnecessary poles and lines once the excavation begins while preserving the present set up of needed electricity.  Bryce, the owner of Triple C Excavating, our contractor, met with us as well and said he could begin near the end of August and they will stay on the job until it is completed, which could take up to a month.

So, exciting news to say the least that by October, we will be clear of all the mobile home debris and “jungle” growth.  At that point we will be working on getting grass seed out there on the clear soil and getting ahead of the rainy winter months.

I know that I am going to be up here quite a bit watching the progress that we have prayed for literally for years.  Now we will see it begin to take shape before our eyes very soon.  Pray for the workers and their safety as they dig into uncharted territory.  There is an unbelievable amount of “stuff” over there.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,
