Good Morning Family!

Today immediately after our worship service, we will gather for a very quick time of a Special Called Business Meeting to consider one motion regarding our parking lot and follow up on what we talked about last week at the Regularly Scheduled Business Meeting.

Last week, we were informed that an anonymous gift will be given toward the paving of a major section of our parking lot as soon as we confirm through a business meeting to allow us to move forward after reviewing two bids as a congregation.  This gift will fill in the required amount of funding between what we have already saved toward this effort and the total cost of completion.  We are bringing it this week because, if we do, there is a good chance it can be completed before winter weather hits.  There is a time in which asphalt production companies do shut down for the winter and that is usually in late November. Hence, the need for us to decide today.

We will have a printed motion presented that will explain the process and allow for questions and then we will proceed with the vote.  If a positive vote is given, we will contact the paving company tomorrow and ask them to get us on their schedule.

Also, this morning, we will continue our ongoing series, ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told” as we our look at part 3 of Jesus’ Parable of the Wedding Feast found in Matthew 22:1-14.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,
