From Your Pastor's Heart - January 14, 2018

Good Morning Family!

Wow!  January is half over and 2018 is underway.  Unbelievable.  I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store this year.  In spite of the desperate situation the world seems to be in, He is still on the throne and still has His hand on His people here at FBCCF.

I am so incredibly thankful for Bro. Dale filling in for me in our absence last Sunday as we spent some Christmas celebration time with some family up north.  Thank you, Bro. Dale for sharing what the Lord is teaching you in His Word.  And I also want to thank John for leading you all in worship last Sunday.  I am sure you had a great time and the Lord was pleased with our expressions of praise and adoration.  Thanks to both of you men for a job well done!

I also want to express our thanks as a family to you all our church family for your gifts to us over the Christmas holidays!  You are very thoughtful folks and we have been blessed by you over and over again through the years.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Church Family Fellowship Groups.  These groups are open to everyone and we want to make certain that we all participate in getting to know one another better and better as the years go by.  The only way you will be left out of this effort is if you leave yourself out and don’t sign up.  I want to strongly encourage you to take advantage of this great time of fellowship once per month with a Fellowship Group.  We hope to begin these in February.  You will not regret being a part of this ministry.

We cannot tell you how good it is to be back home this week and ready to begin another year of ministry together!

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro Steve
