Good Morning Family!
Today, we will be picking up at the point on which we ended last Sunday. We began a short two message talk on “The Value of His Church”.
Today is also our Business Meeting/Potluck Luncheon. You know, I always look forward to these days. It is always good for the family of God to sit down and talk about where we are and where we believe we should be. The camaraderie among all of us is a prized possession and we are to be so grateful to the Lord how He has put His ministry for FBCCF together and equipped us with brothers and sisters with same concern to live rightly with one another and to put others first.
I said it, I don’t know how many times, last week in the sermon that I am so blessed to be a part of a church family that is so together in “one accord” as it says in Acts 2:1 (Honda jokes aside). I know how hard everyone tries to keep others first here and it shows.
So, as we share in our meeting today, let’s see where we have been and also what God may be up to. You never know how and when the Lord moves, usually, until He moves. As we hear how the Lord is directing ministries all across the church body, let’s commit together to continue to work together, pray together, and live together pursuing the plan of God for not only our lives, but our ministry.
Thank you in advance for everyone who prepared an item for today’s luncheon! And kudos to our Kitchen Team and helpers for coordination and cleanup. We can all help with clean up in one way or another, and usually do. I think this is going to be a fantastic day in our ministry together as we see God move us unmistakably forward. Forward… that’s the only sure way to go.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
