Good Morning Family!
What a meaningful time we had together on Easter Sunday. Experiences ranged from grief, sorrow, and concern for members of our church family to ultimately knowing that all that is wrong in this world will one day be right. And it is all because of Jesus the Risen Lord!
I do want to express our support for Christina, Annabelle, and Abigail in the homegoing of their husband and father, Eddie. He was definitely a friend to all and a blessing to everyone who came across his path. We have been and are supporting Christina and the girls in prayer and also in tangible ways as a church family and are in close contact as they walk through the days to come. I will for certain keep everyone posted on ways we can be of help.
Many thanks to our Kitchen crew for the wonderful Easter Breakfast once again. We are grateful for everyone who made a casserole or a breakfast item to contribute to the cause. It is a great way to start off the morning each year.
Kudos also to the FBCCF Choir for leading us in worship during their song. Great job everyone! You really pulled together and sounded great! Thanks also to the men who brought our banners in during the closing of the service. It was such a beautiful and meaningful moment. I am so grateful to the Lord for the provision of the banners that He decided we would be a proper home for them when they were being decommissioned by another ministry.
All in all a good day was had last Sunday and God is so good!
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
