Good Morning Family!
The students had a wonderful outing last Sunday afternoon to Fritz’s Adventure in Branson! I am so appreciative of the adult leaders who went and supervised and also played along with the kids climbing and jumping! Not one injury or bump or bruise… that I know of or was “fessed” up to among our group.
This morning, we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper. It is always a special time as we usually come together at the Table of the Lord on the last Sunday of the month. I pray that as we commemorate the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross this morning, that we will all really contemplate the depth of love and height of compassion that the Father demonstrated toward us in sending His one and only Son to bear our sin. For it was on His own self that He took the punishment that was to be ours so we might be saved.
We will continue in part two of “Misplaced Fear” this morning as we delve back into Luke 12 in our Greatest Story Ever Told message series. If you are counting, it is sermon number 111. 😊 Jesus will be showing us how and whom we should fear in this message this morning in order to avoid being hypocritical in our own lives.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
