Good Morning Family!
Last Sunday was such a great day! First, it was a great day because it was Resurrection Day, Easter Sunday!! The day when hope was given to us by Jesus by proving everything He said was true, when He arose from the dead!
What a great service we had with our instrumentalists, praise team, the choir, and our soloist. Everyone did such a great job at putting Jesus first and letting the Holy Spirit shine through the music. Thanks everyone for your hard work and dedication to providing leadership to worship.
Also, thank you to our Kitchen Team for putting on such a wonderful breakfast for us. The casseroles, quiche, and biscuits and gravy were fantastic! And whoever made the bananas and strawberries was a genius! Oh, that’s right, Jesus made those! 😊 Thank You, Jesus, for Your blessing of the provisions that gave us a great start to our day on Easter morning and in fact every day!
The Egg Hunt was great fun! The kids did what kids do and we always enjoy watching the hunt and discovery of the eggs as they scurry about in search. Maybe next year, we will add an adult section like we did a few years back. That was a good time as well. 😊
We had 17 at the April “First Tuesday” Adult Bible Fellowship this past week. We took a deep dive into the events of the day Jesus rose from the dead. We tried to see everything that happened from before the dawn that morning to the end of the evening with Him meeting with the disciples and others. It was good to put it all together and see how that first day played out in real time.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
