Good Morning Family,
There are so many things happening today, that today’s letter is a variation of last week’s updated with additional details.
Our service this morning will be fantastic as we will meet for worship initially at church and then move things out to the Bridgeport Beach for a time of Baptism. It is going to be such a special time for Kaylee Stover and her church family as she shares her testimony of having come to Christ for salvation by being baptized by her grandfather, Rev. Dale Keel.
Tonight, we will be going on our Annual School Prayer Tour of Cassville/Washburn, Galena, and Reeds Spring School districts. If enough want to attend, we will possibly take a church van and leave the church parking lot at 5PM today so we can ride together or maybe just car pool. Who knows, there might be a “Pop’s Dari Dell” stop at the end of the time of prayer at Reeds!
Also this morning, we will take time on our service to Pray for Our Homeschoolers. That is such an important ministry and we want to be sure we pray for all of our students, so we will focus prayer toward our homeschoolers this morning and the public schools this evening.
It will be Promotion Sunday here on next Sunday, August 27th, and so let’s be praying for our Sunday School Director and teachers as they work toward making that a good positive experience for the students who will be moving to a new class. I so appreciate Christina Harris, our Director and all of our teachers’ efforts every week to build a strong Sunday Morning Bible Study ministry. We are indeed blessed by our teachers and leaders in all of our age groups!
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
