Good Morning Family!
Next Sunday is Promotion Sunday for our graded classes in Sunday School. Be praying for our students and teachers as several will be in new classes with some new students. I am so grateful for our leaders in all areas of Sunday School and am hopeful this next year will be a season of growth deeper in God’s Word for everyone.
Tonight, we will leave from the church parking lot at 5:30pm for the Annual School Prayer Tour. This year we will do it a little differently to avoid racing from school to school and hoping everyone arrives at scheduled times. We will take the church van and all ride together to Cassville, Galena, and Reeds Spring (togetherness)… and who knows… we may need to go down and “pray over” Pop’s Dari Dell before we come back to church😊
Since we went to the lake for baptism this last week instead of the Job Suite sermon, I say again…We continue this morning in “The Way of Wisdom” sermon series-a ten week walk through the Wisdom Literature of the Old Testament. Today’s sermon is “The Job Suite”, a look at the Book of Job through the music of Michael Card. What a story of faith, courage, testing, and the love and greatness of God.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
