Good Morning Family!
This morning, we will be sharing together a special time in the Word regarding a challenge on The Blessing of Marriage. As we gather today in our morning service, I hope that married couples in attendance will feel free to join together in renewing their vows to one another at the conclusion of the service. Steve and Elaine Llewellyn requested this time as a church family as it is their 40th Anniversary and wanted to share their special milestone with their church family.
So, as I ask Steve and Elaine to repeat their vows of renewal, I will ask other couples who wish to join in their own commitment to stand and take each other’s hands and repeat their renewal vows as well. We have not held a service like this before here at FBCCF in recent memory and I am excited to be a part of this special time with our brother and sister, Steve and Elaine and the rest of all of you.
Following the morning service, Steve and Elaine have put together a short fellowship to celebrate all of the vows of renewal that will be spoken among the church family.
Robin, Holly, and I will have to leave as soon as the morning service is over today as we are going to Kansas City this afternoon to be with Robin’s mother for her 80th birthday celebration. So, we will unfortunately not be able to stay long after the service today, and ask for your understanding and prayers for travel.😊
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
