Good Morning Family!
Who else cannot believe it is Labor Day Weekend already? I am so excited for Fall to arrive. The anticipation for all of the ministry opportunities during this time of year is pretty high around here.
The 2025 Fall Ladies Conference is the next major thing on the calendar and the preparations for it are coming along quite nicely and attendance and anticipation is growing. Just last week, we heard from a sister church in Monett that is bringing 19 more ladies. Seeing as how we have not heard from all the contacted churches yet, it is entirely feasible that there may be close to 100 in the end. We are planning toward that number.
Who would have dreamed that a simple leading of the Holy Spirit to a few of our ladies last year would lead to how things went so great in 2024… and now, the Lord is growing it even more this year. He is an amazing God!
This is necessitating the acceleration of the Kitchen remodel coming into its final phases. We are shooting for being done enough to be up and running, fully functional by the end of the day Sunday the 14th …in two weeks as set up for the Ladies conference begins after that Sunday. Continue to pray for our student ministry as kids try to get back in the habit of attending on Wednesdays. I am excited about the lessons the next few months that are geared for helping our kids live out their faith in their day to day lives. I am also thankful for Mary Davis joining our Wednesday teacher rotation. Welcome aboard, Mary!
