Good Morning Family!

We have so very much for which to be thankful as a church family.  Even in the midst of some really trying times for some of our families, we do indeed have each other to turn to for prayer and encouragement. I am so grateful to know that we are all surrounded by brothers and sisters that do pray for one another when needs arise.  This church family’s fellowship is simply amazing and none of us should ever take it for granted.  We are blessed beyond measure.

This Tuesday, after having a fifth Tuesday in July, we will gather once again for Tuesday 1:3ABF in the Fellowship Hall.  Tuesday August 5th at 6:30pm, we will come together to continue our adventure in Exploring Heaven.  I am hopeful that we will reach the end of the “opening” of this study that we began in June when you submitted your questions about Heaven and the life to come.  Then we will get into this subject even deeper.

It has been a long road so far, but with so much great conversation and questions.  It is such a blessing that we have God’s Word to give us the answers that we need.  They are not always the answers that we are looking for, or thought we knew, but they are always the best answers, and sometimes very surprising!  God is not hiding anything from us, if we’ll just look.

So, I hope to see you there this week for dinner, prayer, and some more challenging and encouraging discussions about God’s Word and what He says in it about our life to come.  If you have not come or have laid out for a bit over the summer, come on back!  It is so much fun being in the Word together.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15
