The Third Sunday of the Advent Season
Good Morning Family!
Today, we will be looking at the theme of JOY! In the message today, I want us to look at The Joy of the Shepherds. These fellows out in the fields nearby Bethlehem were the very first humans to interact with the angels following the birth of Jesus. God had sent His messengers to immediately notify the entire world that His Son had been born, and it was to these men and young boys that He announced that the Savior had been born. After 4,000 years of prophecy concerning His coming, it was not to kings or princes or to the influential of the world that this was made known. God chose the common people, with whom Jesus would most identify during His life here on earth, to first hear the message of JOY!
