The Second Sunday of the Advent Season
Good Morning Family!
This morning is the Second Sunday of Advent and our theme today is PEACE. It is my hope that through music, prayer, and the Word this morning, we will all see what the peace of Jesus means to each of us.
I am so grateful for the musicians in our church stepping up not only each week of the year, but especially at Christmas time to be certain we turn our attention toward Christ in our time of music during our worship services. It is always so nice to see the different ways in which God has gifted those in the leadership of our time of praise through the congregational pieces and the special selections presented to aid in turning our eyes to Christ.
As last year, I am printing in my letter, the schedule of Sundays to you can see where we have been and where we are going in our Advent series.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
