Good Morning Family!
Well, this has been an interesting month! I told Robin that as soon as I had to get my shoulder operated on, that we would wind up with the biggest snowfall in years. So, you have me to blame 😊
I worked so hard in the weeks leading up to surgery to make sure I had all my ducks in a row and what do you know? The first week after surgery I am replacing water heater elements in our tank… then right before I get my sling off…snow, snow, and more snow! Life never stops for any of us, that is for sure. All in all, the doc said, I am doing well and on track, still can’t lift much, but am progressing.
This morning, we are going to take a look at the ordinance of The Lord’s Supper during our message time. Periodically, I will come back to this subject as we at FBCCF will usually partake of communion on the last Sunday of the month. It has been a while since I have taught exclusively on the topic and so I thought it would be beneficial for us to look into the scriptures this morning in this regard. I know it is not the last Sunday of the month, but I was home sick on January 30th and so we postponed.
I am prayerful we will all now remain healthy and that the weather will cooperate for us on Sundays and Wednesdays so we can pick up some momentum in ministry into 2022. No, doubt there is much to accomplish!
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
