Good Morning Family!
This morning, we return to “Reflections on Prayer” series as we continue looking at reasons we may seem to fail at prayer and how the Lord wants to help us through those things and move on to new depths of communion with Him.
If you have not already, be sure to sign up for the Winter Banquet. Today, February 18th is the deadline. It is always a highlight for our church family as we gather for a great evening of food and fellowship. The fellowship is fantastic, and the food is incredible! The date is Saturday, February 24th @ 6:00pm. Cost is $15 per person.
Now, as far as cost goes, if you are having trouble with coming up with that, come see Tracy Hudson or myself and we will help. Otherwise, it would be helpful to simply mark your check memo as Winter Banquet and drop it in the offering plate. If you need to wait until the evening of the Banquet to pay, that is fine as well.
In the Fellowship Hall, Resource Room, and the Office area at present, there are some long needed items of refurbishing being planned and completed in the next few weeks. I am very grateful for some recent designated gifts given to the church the last few months by individuals stipulating for us to use them in a way that will be most helpful. I had been praying for resources to complete several projects that are needed and the Lord has seen fit to supply! The Lord never fails!
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
