Good Morning Family!
I have to level with you, I am writing this letter to you by faith. As I am writing it, it is Wednesday evening February 22nd. However, I am going to speak in it like it is Sunday morning February 26th. 😊
What a wonderful evening last night it was! The decorations, the food, the fellowship, the hearts and hands joined around the tables as we shared together in our 2023 Winter Banquet was so encouraging. Tracy Hudson and the Events Team went above and beyond, if that is even possible! I have seen the work that goes into this and it is mind-numbing how much these ladies do in the weeks leading up to this annual event.
Looking at the reservations sign-up sheet, it was our best attended Winter Banquet to date. And with good reason; the love, talent, and compassion that goes into making this night a real celebration for the church family and friends is simply beyond what any of us can realize, unless you are a part of the preparations.
I just want to express my love and admiration for all those who had a hand in shopping, decorating, set-up, cooking, serving, and clean-up. The Winter Banquet is always such a blessing and everyone of you involved are the greatest blessing of all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
