Good Morning Family!
Knee Day has arrived! Tomorrow, Monday, January 23rd, I will be going in for my knee replacement surgery. Been a long time coming… It won’t make me the Bionic Man, just “old guy with titanium”. However, it is being done robotically, so hopefully I won’t hear, “Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!”
On Sunday, January 29th, I have asked Bro. Dale to preach that Sunday in my absence. The praise team will lead worship with Barney on Welcome and Announcements and Tracy leading our Church Family prayer time. I am so grateful for those in our leadership team willing to step in and take the reins while I recoup after surgery.
Also, I am certain that you will be greatly blessed to hear what it is that the Lord has laid upon the heart of Bro. Dale to share with you. As I said last week, I will see what the recovery looks like for the following week and how I am feeling leading up to Sunday Feb 5th before deciding on my participation in February 5th services.
I do wish to thank everyone in advance for their prayers for a good procedure and speedy recovery, but especially I ask for prayer for Robin and Holly as they take on doing some things that I cannot do around the house while I am unable to get around quite like I am used to. They will be having to assist me around the house from time to time and transport me to physical therapy, until I get clearance to drive. I am going to do my absolute best to do everything I can to make this a solid recovery time 😊
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
