Good Morning Family!

Our God is a mighty God! Last Sunday, Gordon shared with me regarding our ongoing prayer for a second church van for FBCCF, that Richard Cain, one of our former deacons who moved away a few years ago, let him know of the church van at Richard’s present church, Calvary Baptist in eastern Missouri, that was being sold.

It was a 1996 Ford V10 350 that had been out of use for the past three years. It was in need of a little work to get it up and running again, but only had 65,000 miles on it. Calvary Baptist only was asking $1500. And we would need to transport it home and begin work on it. Up and running, the Kelley Blue Book is $5500!

After consulting with our Finance Committee and our church Council this past Tuesday afternoon, it was unanimously agreed to step out and find a way to make the purchase. So, it didn’t take too long, after the need was evident, the Lord anonymously moved in through some of His people and supplied the needed funding for purchase, transportation, and repairs… in a matter of no longer than 45 seconds!

In fact, the Lord has led us to set up a “Fleet Fund” in our designated budget to place the funds so that we can keep an ongoing spot for funds for needed repairs to both vehicles even on down the road. So, if anyone else would sense the Lord directing to give to that area, it would be appreciated, because we don’t know exactly what we are looking at and it will indeed be a good idea to keep a fund going for upkeep on both vehicles now.

Tuesday afternoon, the Lord reminded all of us once again of His blessing upon this ministry of the church family at FBCCF!

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
