Good Morning Family!
I want to start off by thanking all of you for your graciousness and prayers last Sunday as I stayed behind to shepherd the morning worship service and bring the message God had laid on my heart for the day. As many of you know, Robin left about 10:00am last Sunday morning to take Holly to the emergency room in Springfield for severe abdominal pain. That was her second trip in just a few days.
They gathered more information and have determined it is her gallbladder and so she has seen a specialist for next steps. As of this writing, we do not know what those steps are. We do thank you for your prayers for her as she struggles with pain on and off again.
Thanks so much to Paul Winfrey, your Chairman of Deacons for guiding the Business Meeting in my absence. Taking that on was much appreciated as it enabled me to do what I needed to do to be a support for my family.
The establishing of a new Fellowship Groups Ministry has been put on hold until sometime this Spring. For right now, we are going to sit tight and ride winter out.
Be sure you follow upcoming announcements about the Winter Banquet in the bulletin. It is always a highlight for our church family as we gather for a great evening of food and fellowship. The fellowship is fantastic and the food you will not find surpassed anywhere! The date is February 24th @ 6:00pm. Sign up today!
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
