Good Morning Family!
Today is the day! The coming together of FBC and Convoy of Hope. To help us begin to imagine and innovate, our friends Kim and Laurel Harvey from Convoy of Hope will be with us to share God’s Word this morning as Kim brings the sermon this morning. Then, we will join together over lunch in the Fellowship Hall for vision-casting, development, training, and idea planting, where Kim and Laurel will help us see how our partnership with Convoy of Hope will help us reach further into our community.
The luncheon is potluck, so please plan to stay even though you may not have been able to bring anything. There is always plenty! Then, stay on to be encouraged and challenged! We have to do this together.
As I’ve been telling you in the lead up to this morning, Kim and Laurel are coming this morning on a Love Offering basis. So, I pray the Lord has laid upon your heart what you should do at the offering time in planting a blessing into their lives for the work they do in helping rural churches carry out the mission of Jesus in their communities.
Important note in regard to the offering this morning: Make your check out to First Baptist Church of Cape Fair and mark your envelope “Harvey” and we’ll see it gets to them. This way we can distinguish between regular Budget Offerings and the Love Offering.
Please remember Gordon and Connie in your prayers daily for health, strength, safety, and wisdom as they serve in Austria with Ukrainian refugees.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
