Good Morning Family!
This morning, we will continue in the “Reflections on Prayer” message series. I am hopeful this series of sermons has been and will be helpful to each of us in our journey of prayer.
We began our “First Tuesday” Adult Bible Fellowship last Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. We had twenty in attendance for that first of many to come. It was a great group from all across the spectrum and I look so forward to seeing where this all goes. There was some meaningful, heartfelt sharing and fellowship as we began to set the course.
Beginning next week in our Sunday services, I anticipate we will begin moving toward Easter in our emphases. I will be breaking away temporarily from the Prayer sermon series and begin to move our thoughts toward the lead up to Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Resurrection Day.
Along those lines, I do want to share that on March 31st, there will be an Easter Morning Fellowship Breakfast at 8:30am before Sunday School. Then, after our morning service, there will be our Annual Easter Egg Hunt for the kids who were in attendance at church that morning.
This past Wednesday, we began a new teaching series in our Wednesday Night Cape Crusaders program. We are calling it, “Ignite! Speaking Character That Shines!” Our teaching staff will be walking the students through 12 Biblical characters that will help us put together what following the Lord looks like in real life situations. Tracy Hudson began the introduction to that series last Wednesday and we will start the teaching rotation on Wednesday, March 20th, as there will be no activities on Wednesday March 13th due to Spring Break.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
