Good Morning Family!
So, you need to know up front that I usually write these letters on Wednesday or Thursday each week. So, in a situation such as today(Sunday March 22) I am writing as if it is actually Sunday morning. 😊
Assuming the Lord does not return before Sunday morning, here goes…
What a great time was had by all at the Winter Banquet, we should have maybe renamed it this year but, you never know what the weather will be like on any given day in Missouri in the winter or spring. I am fortunate enough to be a part of seeing what all goes into this each year and it is simply amazing!
Our Special Events Team led by Tracy Hudson always makes this such an experience. My deepest thanks go to all those who had a hand in any part of the banquet from inception to the last bit of clean up and everything in between. It is a mammoth operation, and we are grateful to have been able to take part! The menu was incredible and the presentation was immaculate as usual. And thank you to everyone who came out to support this endeavor.
This morning marks the Second Sunday of Easter Advent. Today, our theme is “Prophecies of a Messiah”. We will be putting on our “Indiana Jones” hats and diving into some ancient writings to see the foretelling of the coming of Christ. The accuracy of the Scriptures is nothing short of miraculous!
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
