Good Morning Family!

Last Sunday, we finished the Lazarus resurrection account in John 11 in our The Greatest Story Ever Told Series.  Today, we will be looking at a topic that I actually addressed with our students a few weeks ago on a Wednesday night.  I usually don’t carry over my teaching on Wednesdays into a Sunday morning. I have a few times over these eleven years on special topics that are appropriate to both age groups.  But, on the way home the Wednesday night before last, Robin suggested that we approach the same subject on a Sunday morning and so, being smart enough to listen to her, here we are this morning.

This past week, we had 27 at Tuesday 1:3ABF.  I think that was our largest group yet.  Now, I hope that you know by now, I am not a numbers attendance guy.  Yes, I do notice attendance, but not in a statistical way.  I notice more in a way of just noting who is out of town or who may be ill or who is, by necessity, having to stay home.  Its really more about people than numbers.

Anyway, the attendance last Tuesday, and actually every week so far at our Tuesday studies, tells me that we have struck a chord and are meeting a need for the adults for a midweek gathering as well.  It is so awesome to gather and actually interact over the Word as we make discoveries together in areas that maybe we have not taken a deep dive into before.  So, for those who are available on those nights, I hope you might come and see what its all about.  You will see many familiar faces and maybe get to know one another a little better along the way.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15
