Good Morning Family!

What a few weeks we have had with our weather! I am aware that other parts of the country had it as well and other areas are still reeling from the aftereffects of flooding, freezing, hurricanes, and fires.  So, while a thick blanket of powdery snow with record lows slowed some of us down for a bit the last few weeks, we are blessed beyond measure.

The same weather that buried us has now given way to some really beautiful days here in the Ozarks.  For those who wanted a few tastes of winter this year (myself being one of those), I think we are full now😊 I’m ready to move on, although I know that most likely will not happen.

This morning, since we missed last Sunday, due to the ice on the lot, Bro. Dale will be bringing the message today.  We are appreciative of being able to be away last week for a family wedding in KC.  But we are so glad to be back and able to share together now this morning with everyone else in hearing Bro. Dale open the scriptures to the church family.  He will also lead us through the Lord’s Supper this morning near the conclusion of our service.

Last, but certainly not least, another fantastic Winter Banquet is in the books!  I am around for and see much of the preparation, shopping, decorating, and re-arranging that goes on and it is an incredible undertaking.  And if you could see this kitchen on Friday and Saturday, it is clockwork!  A huge shoutout goes to Tracy Hudson and the Special Events Team and all those who came alongside that team and put all of this together.  You are much appreciated and as always, a great time of fellowship with a wonderful menu of food made the evening special for all!  Giant high five!

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Bro. Steven
