Good Morning Family!
Today, we continue in our “Reflections on Prayer” series. This morning’s message will be number five and the last three have been focused on Failure in Prayer or roadblocks we can sometimes find in our prayer lives. I am hoping these have been and continue to be helpful in some of your lives. I have heard from a few of you where I have hit something that has been particularly applicable to your situation. That is always encouraging that I may be going in the right direction message-wise. So, thank you, because if we aren’t here for each other, then we are indeed missing the point.
It is a fact that there are many times when we all struggle, not just in prayer, but in life in general. We can all feel on the edge at times in the midst of the many directions we are constantly pulled. The truth is that life can be quite messy and it is so, it is so important to have people in your life to share your struggles and to also be there to encourage. Those people are priceless. Those times are priceless.
We are heading into not only Spring, but Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter. Those days are going to be quickly arriving before we know it. These dates are especially early this year. Although we usually relate the Gospel in one way or another nearly every week, it is always good to focus on that last week in the life of Jesus in an in-depth way during this time of year. Make it a point to either not miss those services or be sure to catch up online, if you must miss. I am aware that some of you travel on that holiday and so we will pray for safe travel and good times with family during that Holy Week.
Remember, we will begin our “First Tuesday” Adult Bible Fellowship on March 5th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Make plans to begin to attend.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
