Good Morning Family!
I am so excited as we continue this teaching series on the Holy Spirit. It is not necessarily the sermons I am pumped about; it is the subject matter and how awesome it is to learn about the role of the Holy Spirit and His work in our world and in our lives. To see spiritual light bulbs lighting up in some of us as we ponder what might be some new territory is really inspiring to me.
For others who may have studied some of this before, I am hoping this series reawakens the wonder and the mystery of seeing God at work in our every day lives. In doing so, we recognize His guidance and discernment that He willingly gives to those who are attuned to listen to His promptings and voice as we read and study the Word.
I have had more than a few good conversations with several of you this past week regarding last Sunday’s sermon. And I had additional questions regarding the deep dive we took in our “First Tuesday” Adult Bible Fellowship as we looked further at the work of the Holy Spirit and His part in our salvation and final destination. Tuesday built upon Sunday.
On a personal side note, I am celebrating my father’s birthday today in my heart. Born May 19, 1927…He went to be with the Lord 34 years ago in 1991. If he were alive on this earth today, he would turn 97 today. I have no doubt in my mind, he would much rather be as he is right now, timeless in the presence of the Lord, than 97 years old here. Literally can’t wait to see my hero again.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
