Good Morning Family!

May has much to offer in ministry here at FBCCF, beginning with today. You are here this morning and this is your opportunity to spend time with fellow disciples encouraging, praying for, studying and fellowshipping with each other. Because of the resurrection of Jesus, Sundays became known as The Lord’s Day which is why we gather on Sunday mornings to “be the church”. There is no better place to be than right here, right now, celebrating Jesus and sharing the Gospel!

Tonight will be the first of our new quarterly Sunday Night Gathering @ The Cape events. With the weather being “iffy” this time of year, we decide to go inside for this one and so at 6:00pm we will begin showing the movie “Courageous”. I know many of you may have seen this a few years back when it came out, but the Gospel message and the positive encouragement that this film brings to families is really something! I hope you will plan to come back tonight for this time of fellowship and encouragement with your church family. There will be snacks available.

I am asking for May to be a “Season of Prayer” at FBCCF as we approach Sunday, June 5th and the coming together of FBC and Convoy of Hope in looking at innovative ways we can reach further into our community with the Gospel. To help us begin to imagine, our friends, Kim and Laurel Harvey from Convoy of Hope will be with us for a Sunday of vision-casting, development, and idea planting on Sunday June 5th. Kim will have our message time that morning and then that will be followed by a church wide potluck and training time for the church body as to how we can begin to deepen our roots in ministry with our community and strengthen the fellowship here even better than it is already! Put this on your calendar!

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
