Good Morning Family!
Each week through the first of June I will be saying this in my letter… I continue to ask for May to be a “Season of Prayer” at FBCCF as we approach Sunday, June 5th and the coming together of FBC and Convoy of Hope in looking at innovative ways we can reach further into our community with the Gospel. As I have mentioned each week, to help us begin to imagine, our friends Kim and Laurel Harvey from Convoy of Hope will be with us for a Sunday of vision-casting, development, and idea planting on Sunday June 5th.
Kim will have our message time that morning and then that will be followed by a church wide potluck and training time for the church body as to how we can begin to deepen our roots in ministry with our community and strengthen the fellowship here even better than it is already! I pray this is on your calendar! We have to do this together.
I cannot tell you how much I am anticipating what the Lord may do through this church in 2022! If we continue to look to Christ and trust Him, He will do some mighty things though us. He will guide us… and where He guides, He provides. He will never ask us to do something where He has not planned ahead for the strategy and the means. Jesus never fails!
Please remember Gordon and Connie in your prayers daily for health, strength, safety, and wisdom as they serve in Austria with Ukrainian refugees.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
