Good Morning Family!
We are entering into a time of some foundational teaching in our Sunday Morning message time. Last Sunday, we covered the subject of Baptism. Over the coming weeks, I am going to be teaching on topics such as being a part of a local church, aspects of the Lord’s Supper, and some of the basic doctrines of the faith. In doing so, we will also expose some of the more prevalent spiritual departures from the Bible’s teachings on these things. I am hoping this will help equip us so we can recognize and avoid the confusion that is so widespread that threatens to disrupt and deceive both the believer and the lost. The Bible has much to say about being Biblically discerning in our time and it is a very serious matter.
This morning, we are also going to recognize our graduates and the accomplishments that they have achieved as we help support them in their future plans of pursuing education. We have two men who are graduating high school this year: Timothy Torske and Landon Munhollon. It has been our pleasure to see each one grow through the years here at FBCCF. And it is our privilege as their church family, to help them with a scholarship. I have also secured a new MacArthur Study Bible for the church to present to each one as they have both been so dedicated to the study of the Word of God. Congratulations to both!
Make plans now to join us next Sunday at 8:30am in the Fellowship Hall as some of our men are going to be preparing a breakfast in celebration of Mothers’ Day. Everyone is invited to this special time next week, May 10th before we gather for Sunday School.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
