Good Morning Family,
Fall has finally not only arrived, but the colors have peaked, I believe early this past week and now we are headed into the time where they will all begin letting go of their source as we all begin to see the blanket of leaves spreading out everywhere we look. The changing of the season is always a great time to reflect on the past and to look forward to the future.
It was a great summer and fall time of ministry here with all of you. Next week, we will share together in the ultimate fall holiday, “Thanksgiving”! This holiday (that really should be a daily state of mind) has always held a special place in my heart. It rests there not only because it calls me to be mindful of the blessings of the Lord, but because it always is a time of family and friends. Next Sunday will be that time for us!
Not looking past this morning at all as we seasonally wind up our teaching in “The Greatest Story Ever Told” with perhaps the greatest parable ever told, we look forward to next week with all of you…our family. Not only will we share in a wonderful time around the table, but we will gather together in worship and the Word to offer our gratitude to the Lord for putting all of us together here in this place at this time in all of our lives.
We are so grateful to the Lord to be able to call each of you truly family.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” - II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
