Good Morning Family!

This morning, we welcome Rich Wittig a representative from The Gideons International to our morning worship service.  He will be sharing about this wonderful ministry that places God’s Word in strategic locations all over the world and also works with hotels, schools, and other entities to provide Bibles and New Testaments to people of all walks of life.  The Gideons International has been in ministry since 1899.

Also, this morning, we are in message number four, the final installment in our four-week sermon series in the Book of Ruth.  Last week, we came to the deciding moment in the love story of Boaz and Ruth.

I thank you for your prayers for our Yearly Budget Planning Committee.  Their work is nearly complete and we hope to have a printed version of the Proposed Budget  for 2023 in your hands in a few weeks.  We will be holding a special called business meeting right after the morning service of December 11th to proceed with adoption.  Also on that day, we will make available to new updated Ministry Directory.

I am excited to see what challenges lie ahead for 2023, but first I am ready to begin our holiday themed services beginning next week with the Thanksgiving sermon on Sunday November 20th.  Then, the First Sunday of Advent will be November 27th.  Pray with me as I seek the Lord regarding the Advent sermon series this year.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
