Good Morning Family!

What a great morning we will have together as we celebrate Thanksgiving as a church family.  Although we have much for which to be thankful in our individual families, we also have a great deal to be grateful to the Lord for in regard to our church family.

Such great friendships and camaraderie exist in our midst.  Our work in ministry together is one of the greatest blessings in our lives.  So, today, we commit ourselves anew to the Lord in gratitude for the wonderful ways in which He has blessed this church and called us into active duty together to serve one another, build up the church body, and reach out with the gospel to our community and our world.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving today with each other, as we gather around the tables in the Fellowship Hall, let us remind ourselves how blessed we all are of the Lord to be here together in this place and at this time.  The joy we share as we gather is a result of the Lord’s hand upon our work in the Gospel ministry here in Cape Fair and even beyond this area as we give to and pray for common mission efforts around the world.

Take time today to tell someone here that you are grateful for their investment in your life and commit to pay that investment forward in the lives of others.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Happy Thanksgiving,

Bro. Steven
