Good Morning Family,

We enter the Christmas Holidays now and I am so excited for this time of year. I love the music, the sights, the smells that all come together to celebrate and bring glory to God in the highest! All that is Christmas is wrapped up in Jesus and Him alone as we worship Him for bringing salvation and all of the blessings of God that come along with Christ as Savior, God and Father, and the Holy Spirit as our Helper. It is so wonderful to think how God is literally everything to us.

Tonight, we will gather here at church for the “Hanging of the Greens”. This is the night where we gather as church family and decorate our church building for Christmas. We are going to ask for all hands on deck here for sure as there is garland to hang, trees to construct, and Nativity Scenes to set up. The more hands, the more we can share in the work.

If you have never come to this and you are an able-bodied individual and are not providentially hindered from being here tonight, it would be a huge help. I do know that several of us “regulars” in the decorating area are not quite on top of our game physically right at this moment and it sure
would be appreciated if we had some extra help this time around to carry just a bit more of the load.

There is always great music and fun times together on this special night in the life of the church. It only comes once a year, so set aside an evening to be a part of the “Hanging of the Greens”.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
