Good Morning Family!

This morning, we will be returning to our overarching series of “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.  We will be resuming where we left off a few weeks ago at John chapter 10.  As of this morning, we are 137 sermons and a little over 7 years in as we are journeying through the Gospels, harmonizing the accounts of all four chronologically.

I do want to thank you all for your kind words and encouragement as we spent the last two Sundays speaking very frankly about what the Bible has to say about the issues that face our country.  We carry on a long standing Early American tradition of Election Sermons that may of our forefathers participated in as the colonies were coalescing and beginning to form what was to become the United States.  The sermons by these early patriot pastors served our country well as these men reminded the citizens of not only their duty to participate in the decisions about governing the nation, but also that their first responsibility as citizens of the Kingdom of God as they represented Christ in the new republic.

We remain in prayer for our nation as people go to the polls to let their voices be heard.  Pray that those who profess Christ will vote biblically on the pressing issues of the day.  Go get your sticker!

As always, my prayer is that we would all Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
