Good Morning Family!
Today, we are in message number three, the third chapter in our four-week sermon series in the Book of Ruth. We are at the halfway point. Last week, we met the hero of the story. This week, we will see Boaz’s tremendous nobility toward and regard for Ruth.
Just to keep you apprised…
*Sunday Morning, November 13, we will host a speaker from the Gideons International to come and share about this worldwide ministry that we support each time with a love offering taken that morning.
*Sunday Morning, November 20, FBCCF Thanksgiving Luncheon immediately after the morning worship service.
*Sunday Evening, November 27, “The Hanging of the Greens”… always a special time for the church family to gather to decorate the church building for Christmas.
I also would ask you to be in prayer for our Yearly Budget Planning Committee. They have the difficult task of weighing our options for 2023 in the face of this formidable economy in which we find ourselves. FBCCF ministries have really towed the line this year and have been so incredibly watchful and careful with how we have utilized the Lord’s funding of what He has called us to do. Way to go, everyone!
The task ahead for 2023 is completely possible with the Lord’s guidance and our complete reliance upon Him once again as every year. He is always faithful, and it is not a cliché, but a truth that: “Where He Guides, He Provides!”
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
Humbly Yours,
Bro. Steven
