Good Morning Family!

This morning in our service, we will have a couple of special times in which to share.  At the very beginning of our time together, we will honor our veterans and let them know how much we sincerely thank them for laying their lives on the line in service to country.

Each person who has served, whether in combat, leadership, or a support role, pledged their all on the line in any event and Veterans Day is that day where we celebrate and honor those in our midst who have completed their service to country.  We stand in your honor today and thank the Lord for your dedication to God and country.

Today, we will give to each of you a “Challenge Coin”.  Challenge coins are small medallions that represent an achievement and honor a specific group. In the military and veteran community, they often symbolize a special event or mission, anniversary, meeting with a leader, or affiliation with a unit.  Our challenge coins today commemorate Veterans Day.

Also, in our morning service today, we welcome Charles Hawkins, the representative for the Gideons International Ministry from Kimberling City.  We have asked him to come and share with us the work of the Gideons and how we can as a church and individuals be connected and supportive.  We announced this ahead of time and also sent out a robo-text, so we could be prepared to ask the Lord how we should give toward this effort in our morning offering today.

As always, my prayer is that we would all Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15.

Bro. Steven
