Good Morning Family!

Our 2022 Community Appreciation Fall Fish Fry was a tremendous success from all angles.  It demonstrated the power of working together in ministry.  It built and strengthened relationships among everyone involved in pulling it off.  Many people were positively affected in our community.  And every one of the church family of FBCCF that was in attendance went above and beyond to make certain that every guest felt welcomed and encouraged!

I heard this over and over again as I walked around greeting the guests.  One couple asked me if we were raising money for something through this event and dinner.  I told them we were not and that the purpose of the event was to give back and show appreciation to our community and that was all there was to it.  Every guest I talked to said they were really impressed by the heart of our church for doing this.

All that said, big thanks and kudos go to the Events Team for coordinating the food side and really even coming up with the whole idea!  Good job leaders and helpers who prepared beforehand and then cleaned up afterward!!!  Also, a big thank you to the guys who came up to set up the stage and then stuck around in the dark to tear it all down.  Great job everyone all the way around!!

Robin, Holly, and I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the very encouraging card we received last week for Pastor Appreciation.  Having so many of you personally sign it was so wonderful to read, thanks so much!  Also, we want to thank you so much for the generous gift to us.  It is extremely helpful to us during the current season in which we are as a family.  So, thank you all so very much.

As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.”   II Timothy 2:15

Humbly Yours,

Bro. Steven
