Good Morning Family!
If you know me at all, you know that this is a special day! It is the first day of the “ember-ober” months! I should actually start a festival and name it, “Ember-oberfest!”. Apple cider would be the official drink with cinnamon rolls being the official food. These are my favorite months of the year, with the “uary” months that come right after being a close second.
I have been looking forward all week long to the cool off to begin this weekend. We will be out of the 90’s for the foreseeable future, but you never know. Enough about weather…
We had such a special Sunday last week with the wedding vow renewal service and reception that followed. Everyone had such a great time. And thank you Steve and Elaine for hosting the Fellowship afterward. Congrats once again!
There are so many things coming up this Fall on our church calendar, so I encourage to keep track and stay involved as you are able. There are so many people working behind the scenes to bring about these events and to minister through the weekly worship and teaching opportunities. Thanks everyone!!
Hoping I will see you at Tuesday 1:3 ABF two days from now. We’ll gather at 6:30pm on September 3rd in the Fellowship Hall and will be taking a deep dive into another miracle of Jesus, and of course there will be prayer, fellowship, and… food.
As always, my prayer is that we would all “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15.
Your Shepherd of the Hills,
Bro. Steven
