Good Morning Family!
I am aware that Autumn does not astronomically begin until 1:19pm Monday the 22nd. But I can dream, can’t I? I know when the seasons are changing that my letter to you usually becomes more of a weather statement than anything else, so that’s all I’m going to say about the weather today 😊
A big thank you to all of the ladies of FBCCF that put together the Women’s Conference yesterday. I am writing this on Thursday evening, so I am trusting the Lord for the great outcome of many women were challenged with the Word and lives that were changed through the work of the Spirit in their midst as they learned, worshipped, and fellowshipped together.
I am grateful for the ladies that prepared food and decorated the building for the conference. To the guys who served Saturday, a big thanks as well for making sure the serving of breakfast and lunch came off well and for helping set up the tables and chairs for the event and then with the tear down to get ready for Sunday morning.
Last, I want to thank our speakers, those who provided special music selections, and the conference worship team for all of the preparation and work that goes into putting together the insights from the Word in our teaching times and Spirit-led music for corporate worship.
One last word, the Lord chose to bless this event this second year over and above what was anticipated from last year. I did the math, and He grew conference attendance by 62%. We went from 67 last year to 107 attendees this weekend. I frankly did not see that coming. But that is amazing to see, and He gets all the glory! Prayerfully, as we keep our focus on Him, He will continue to bless this ministry event, should He lead us to proceed next year. We are planning on it, Lord willing.
As always, my prayer is that we would all, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15
